OVERVIEW

Fresh Meals on Wheels is an organization that provides prepared food to those in Sheboygan County that have a hard time cooking for themselves. They were previously located in downtown Sheboygan and had a contract with a local vending company to provide all the meals.

Because of the many different volunteers that come to deliver meals every week, Fresh Meals on Wheels needed a larger, more accessible facility. They now produce all the meals themselves in their own facility. By doing this, they can ensure that the people receiving food on a daily basis are getting the highest quality meals possible.

Fresh Meals on Wheels is now located in a 13,000 sq. ft. facility. This building houses 8 new offices, a larger conference room, a large gathering space, a 7,000 sq. ft. production kitchen and a garage for their delivery vehicles. This new facility helps Fresh Meals on Wheels better serve their clients and improve the delivery process for the thousands of volunteers that so graciously donate their time and money for this program.
